Our season kicks off this September with a story that’s as American as apple pie. Based on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and adapted by Laura Eason, this imaginative production brings to life one of the greatest childhood adventures ever told.
Join Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, and Becky Thatcher as they navigate mischief, first love, and thrilling escapades—from whitewashing fences to discovering hidden treasure.
Along the way, they encounter danger, excitement, and the unforgettable lessons of growing up.
Filled with humor, heart, and boundless imagination, this is a celebration of everything that makes childhood magical.
Directed by Juliet Blanks, performances run September 18, 19, 25, and 26—so mark your calendars and get ready for adventure!
November 2oth - December 5th
This holiday season, a beloved American classic comes to life in a unique and captivating way. Inspired by the iconic film directed by Frank Capra, this stage adaptation presents It’s a Wonderful Life as a 1940s live radio broadcast.
With a talented ensemble bringing dozens of characters to life, the story follows George Bailey as he faces a moment of despair on Christmas Eve. With the help of the angel Clarence, George discovers the profound impact his life has had on those around him—and the true meaning of love, community, and hope.
Heartwarming, humorous, and deeply moving, this production is the perfect way to celebrate the season.
Join us November 20 and 21, and December 4 and 5, for a festive theatrical experience the whole family will cherish, celebrating the most wonderful time of the year!

This Valentine’s Day, treat your sweetheart to an intimate evening of music and romance at Encore’s Cabaret of Love. Featuring some of the finest vocal talent in Moore County, this special event showcases performers sharing their favorite love songs—from classic musical theatre to contemporary hits.
Thoughtfully curated and full of heart, this cabaret-style performance offers an unforgettable night of storytelling through song. Whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or simply a love of music, this evening is sure to leave you swooning.
Directed by Liz Cox, this amazing opportunity for Musical Theatre enthusiasts will be Valentine's weekend of 2027!
On Tour and On Stage
Experience the magic of Tall Tales of Appalachia, a lively collection of American folktales brought to life on stage! This educational and entertaining show celebrates the rich cultural heritage of North Carolina through legends of the Cherokee people, Davy Crockett adventures, and classic Appalachian Jack Tales. This show will tour the community as well as have in-house shows at Encore in February and March.

We close our season with a story of resilience, family, and the enduring power of dreams. Based on Little Women, this sweeping musical brings the beloved March sisters to life in a heartfelt and inspiring production.
Follow Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy as they navigate the challenges of growing up during the Civil War, each striving to find her own path while holding fast to the bonds of sisterhood. With a soaring score and deeply moving storytelling, Little Women: The Musical is a celebration of ambition, love, loss, and what it truly means to come home.
This powerful and uplifting production is the perfect way to close our season—honoring the strength of the human spirit and the stories that shape who we are. Join us this spring for a theatrical experience that will stay with you long after the final bow.
This fantastic show will be directed by the notorious Gus Allen and open in April of 2027.
